Texas State University has acquired my painting, “Valentine from Borderlandia” for their art collection.

 The painting now hangs at The Center For The Study of The Southwest in Brazos Hall at Texas State University. I painted this piece for the exhibition under the same name in 2019. Read more about this painting and view the virtual exhibition HERE!!

In related news, I will be presenting an art lecture about Gloria Anzaldúa’s influence on “Valentine from Borderlandia” to students of Dr. Sara Ramirez’s class at Texas State University in October.
